I'm still buzzing from last Friday's STYLEAID 2015 at Crown Perth!!!
First of all, a huge thank you to my friend Sameera from Dynamiqueblog for taking me with her!
After picking up our passes we got to watch a tonne of talented make up artists and hairdressers, working their magic on the models. Prepped by three to four make up artists at a time, the models were transformed and ready to go in a blink of an eye. There was so much going on I didn't even know where to point my camera first! After Hair and Make Up we headed backstage. Backstage reminded of a huge walk-in wardrobe with garments, shoes and accessories you wouldn't dare to dream of. I felt like a kid in a candy shop!
The event started with sensational dancers dressed in - of course - outfits from the sixties suiting the theme, with big hair and earrings.
The runway was kicked off by no other than fashion label 'I love MR Mittens'. Combining knits with lingerie to die for, no one else could make knitwear look as sexy as the belgian born designer Stephanie Caulier. Followed by a variety of amazing designers such as 'Aurelio Costarella', 'Salasai', 'Varga Girl', 'Zhivago' and many more the fashion show was then closed by the most gorgeous gowns from 'Ae'lkemi'.
My personal highlight? It would have to be Zhivago. I was in such awe with every single one of Zhivago's extraodinary glamorous, glittery and daring garments, I nearly forgot to take photos, whoops!!!
Thousands of pictures later, we made our way home with lots of new impressions and an overall amazing experience!!!
Thank you STYLEAID for having me! Looking forward to another successful event next year!
